About Us

Label Dalbin, Paris

Label Dalbin, a company established in Paris in 2003 by Eric Dalbin, develops two complementary activities

Art x Music

Label Dalbin produces videos, installations and performances at the interface between music and the visual arts for cultural institutions and private collections. What is original about this approach lies in the very nature of the collaboration here between visual artists and composers, who join forces to form a tightly-knit team that meets and discusses, writes, composes and records an original work together. This unity of time, place and action allows for the exploration of a new musical-visual idiom that blurs conventional boundaries between the genres, for the only thing that really counts is the creative process itself. The meaning of each work, in other words, lies in a meeting of minds between the artists: a shared experience that is uniquely and intimately theirs and has the power to profoundly alter each artist’s approach. Co-creation is the work. The visual revolution in music has begun.

Design x Technology

Label Dalbin conceives innovative audiovisual installation for architecture, interior design and furniture projects. The ambition is to define how digital becomes a new luxury and an intelligent material within the architectural context. Label Dalbin offers an alliance of savoir-faire, from content (art direction, production and layout) to software (tailored development, license and user training) and hardware (purchase, manufacturing, installation and maintenance). Since 2010 Label Dalbin publishes video art though its digital platform CollectorSerie, a smartphone and tablet application available on the AppleStore. In November 2016, Label Dalbin launches its Table.Video, a connected furniture combining design, technology and visual art result of the collaboration between the Dalbin label and the designer Ambroise Maggiar. This innovative table displays videos and images conceived by artists specially for this hybrid object.
