Lives and works in Los Angeles, CA, USA
Luz is a painter and digital illustrator who is currently creating work inspired by his fascination with gore, anatomy, cartoons and mythology. During isolation in 2020, he developed a distinct artistic style of using vibrant color and cartoon-like imagery to transport the viewer to his own universe. In this universe, darkness is disguised as vibrance. Luz’s work has been shown at SuperChiefNFT in New York, NeoShibuya Billboards in Tokyo, SuperRare exhibit @TommieLA, ArtShareLA and the Fowler Museum at UCLA. His work can be found on the blockchain via SuperRare, Foundation and MakersPlace.
