Usually solitary in the vast space of the blank page, my characters today find themselves all gathered to dress the table.video top. Smiles, cries, smiles and tears mingle in a colorful and lively hullabaloo forming a new emotional landscape.

Habituellement solitaires dans le vaste espace de la page blanche, mes personnages se retrouvent aujourd'hui tous rassemblés pour habiller le plateau de la table.video. Sourires, cris, sourires et larmes se mêlent dans un charivari coloré et animé formant un nouveau paysage émotionnel.

Lives and works in Paris, France

Creative director in a communication agency, Julien Michaud has, since 2012, been filling Moleskine notebooks with astonishing characters who make up a constantly expanding world. Recently, some inhabitants of this paper world are emancipating themselves and, if some have been invited to come alive on the table.video top ; others have taken on life and volume by mutating into vases, cups or boxes of glazed ceramic. Julien Michaud is exhibited at the Galerie chez Valentin, Paris.

Directeur de création dans une agence de communication, Julien Michaud remplit, depuis 2012, des cahiers Moleskine d’étonnants personnages qui composent un monde en permanente expansion. Récemment, certains habitants de ce monde de papier s’émancipent et, si certains ont été invités à s’animer sur le plateau de la table.video ; d’autres ont pris vie et volume en se mutant en vases, coupes ou boîtes de céramique émaillée. Julien Michaud est exposé à la Galerie chez Valentin, Paris.
